Audrie's 2nd Birthday

I couldn't even begin to tell you how tired my legs and feet were on Monday! On October 1st, my Audrie Jocelle officially turned two. Another year of life is another blessing. I honestly can't believe how fast time goes by, especially with a growing child. There isn't a day where Audrie doesn't learn something new. Whether it be a word, a gesture, a new sound, a new animal.. There is always something she picks up, and I couldn't be more amazed.
Audrie is such an intelligent little girl, with so much character, and so much charisma. I still can't believe it's been two years. She's grown up right before my eyes. Didn't even let me enjoy her infant months too much, because she started walking at an early age, she was potty trained at an early age.. She's talking, having conversations with us. Telling us what she wants and how she wants it. Some words may still be gibberish, but being a mom means understanding every word that she says.
I love my Audrie Jocelle with all my heart. Two years have gone by just like that, so I'll make sure to cherish every day, every moment, every laugh, and every "I love you" that we share.

Mommy Blog #7

Just a quick blog.. We're in SoCal! Well, we've been since Friday night and we're actually leaving tonight. Had some time with Tupes' family and his friends for their birthdays.

Speaking of birthdays! Audrie's is like, a month and a week away! Gahh! We've got MOST of the planning done and the ordering, but not really. Kind of hard to get orders done when we live 5 hours away from the party location. I still can't wait though!

Mommy Blog #8

So I ordered from Zara for the first time last week, for Audrie, and I gotta tell you, they have SUCH a cute collection for toddlers, I'm in love! I just picked out some bottoms for her, some shoes and a top, that came out to be about 200 buckeroos! Pretty pricey if you ask me, but if you can afford it, why not right?

I'm in love with the oxfords I ordered from the toddler boys selection. I didn't care if it was for boys, it doesn't look like it, just looks like some great flats! And then I got these shorts for her! O M G, they are thee cutest! I can't get over em, aha.

Audrie wasn't the only one that got a package today though, I got one as well! Basically, daddy decided to give us both early birthday presents, hehe. Our bdays are about a month away! Anyway, my package is awesome. I LOVE everything I ordered and everything fit perfectly too! Which is the first for me, because usually, something is wrong with one of the items.. But this time, I got the sizing just right.

I ordered this little black dress, and it makes me want to go out and just party and have fun. I feel good in it, which is rare kus I barely wear dresses. I showed tupes when he got home and he liked it too ;)

Just realized, we've got 2mons to plan and prep for Audrie's big 2 and my 24th. Eeks, I'm getting so excited for the party! I'm hoping everything falls into place and plans follow through!

Mommy Blog #6

Spent some time with my besties these past couple of days, in Frisco, to chill, have a couple of drinks, relax and meet some new people. Tupes watched Audrie while I was out with May and Abi on Saturday. Abi took May and I to Hot Cookie in Castro, just so May can buy a penis cookie before we hit the bar, ha! We also shared a Tupac creme brûlée from the creme brûlée cart. First time tasting this delicious desert, and I'm in love! We met Abi's co-workers at the bar and they were all so chill and funny. After we drank, we had some Lucky Chances Filipino brekkies; which totally gave us food coma, so we all fell asleep in the car and left Abi hanging as she drove us all home. Poor Abi.

Sunday, Audrie and I washed my brother's car. Nice and spiffy, glossy and flossy. Had some Viet food after- always satisfied after having some.

Monday, Audrie and I went with May back to Frisco to visit Abi for the day. Walked around Union Square, took pictures with the infamous SF Hearts and walked around the mall. Abi bought Audrie a cute little Hello Kitty sweater with little kitty ears on the hood; Audrie tried it on today and she looked so adorable! Anyway, after the mall, we had dinner at Palomino and it was delish! Great spot right next to the Bay Bridge on Embarcadero. Great view, great food, great company.

I love when my sisters are in town. Brings back all childhood memories growing up and growing old with them.

Mommy Blog #5

Audrie is 22mons today! Time sure does fly when you have the most energetic and fun baby! I've been planning her 2nd birthday party for a while now, and I'm going to need to get things organized already. Two months is not as long as other people may think.

I'm not going to spill any deets about her party, but I have a feeling it's going to be so much fun! Her daddy's side is all in LA, and since none of them made it last year, we're celebrating it down there with them this year! That means, more kids and more friends! Most of her godparents live down there also, so we can't wait!

Mommy Blog #4

Not much has happened since the last blog. Still potty training and it's still going very well. Tomorrow (today, it's 1:06am) will be two weeks into the training and Audrie's really got the hang of it. She now let's me know when she needs to do either numbers, but she does mix it up a little, lol. Her "poopoo" mean pee and her "peepee" means poo. Overall, she gets the idea.
